Good day all,

My name is George W. Cable, I take pride in my writing, illuminating the life of my colored counter-parts I have paved the way for many other novelists and journalists of my time. Although I have not experienced the indignities of racism first-hand, living in the south before I myself had to escape it has revealed to me its tales, its secrets, and its dark wretched heart. I hope to share with you some of what I have learned and what I now know.
