This is an experiment undertaken by members of English 490-494 at Hunter College in Spring 2024. The course is called “Doing Things with Novels,” and here we are transforming Herman Melville’s Billy Budd using the Ivanhoe concept originated at the University of Virginia by Jerome McGann and Johanna Drucker, et al., in the early 2000s. We are using the Ivanhoe theme for WordPress created at UVAs Scholars Lab.
