Greetings friends,

My name is John, and I’ve just recently moved down south with my lovely life Annie. See, the sweet air down here is good for her health, especially when compared to the North. I must confess, though, that I did have business in mind when moving south. The land here is dirt cheap, and so is the labor! Lately, Annie has been enthralled by the jumbled ramblings of Old Uncle Julius, a freedman. I do wonder, though, if she’s beginning to absorb some of these grotesque alien fantasies. Ah well, as long as business is good, I am also good!
