So far things have been going well and I have been enjoying this fine air. Tom has been discharged because of his lack of enthusiasm to work. John has left town for the morning, and I have noticed Tom looking so down in the mouth. Poor Tom must be so sad for losing his job. He is a young boy who has yet a lot to learn about labor and responsibility. We shouldn’t be so harsh on him. After having a talk with him, I have decided to give him one more chance. I’m sure John won’t mind my decision, Tom did promise to try harder. He seemed so grateful to have his job back.
